VOLUNTEERS

All volunteers must complete this form to participate in any of the following opportunities in 2025.
SWAM is recruiting volunteers for the following events in 2025.
Saturday, July 12, 2025 at Newfound Lake for our 9th Annual Open Water Swim Race.
The following volunteer opportunities are available from 7:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at Wellington State Park, in Bristol, NH.
Paddlers:
You will choose your distance 1K, 5K and 10K as well as to be along the 10K Relay Course. You can also choose to be a race leader or a follower. The leader will need to be able to stay on pace with the lead swimmer in that distance and the follower will need to stay behind the last swimmer in that distance. You must have your own kayak or SUP and need to be ready to go before the pre-race meeting begins at 7:00AM.
Boat Support
We will need safety boats along course and stationed at turnaround buoys. You will remain out on the course for the entire race, until the last swimmer has gone by. All boats MUST have a passenger to act as a spotter on your boat. You will meet the boat coordinator out in Wellington Bay at about 6:45AM.
Land Volunteers
Please sign up for a time slot through volunteer registration and we will assign you to a job when you arrive. These jobs vary from helping to set up registration, greeting swimmers and other volunteers upon arrival, directing traffic, helping in the food tent, etc,
Saturday, July 12, 2025 in Manchester, NH for our Navy SEAL Gold Star Family Tribute Dinner.
Registration
We will need help with registration at our Navy Seal Gold Star Family Tribute Dinner on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at the Doubletree Hilton in Manchester, NH. Volunteers will be required to attend training prior to the event, and will be needed from 4:00 PM - 11:00 PM.
July 26 - July 31, 2025 in Seabrook, NH for the Fish With A Mission: 2025 Tuna Pro Open.
Multiple Volunteer Opportunities
We are excited to host our 2nd Annual Fish With A Mission: Tuna Pro Open in Seabrook, NH in partnership with Yankee Fishermen’s Cooperative! There will be multiple events throughout the week for which we will need volunteers for. If you are local to the area and willing to be involved, please complete the volunteer survey so the committee can reach out.
September 13, 2025 in Manchester, NH for SWAM’s 2nd Annual Ride With A Mission.
Registration & Merchandise
We are excited to host our 2nd Annual Ride With A Mission in partnership with Manchester Harley-Davidson on September 13, 2025. This motorcycle fundraiser will begin and end at Manchester Harley-Davidson and route throughout Southern New Hampshire. We will need volunteers to help with set-up, registration, merchandise, selling raffle tickets, and rest stops, as well as clean up at the end of the event. Timing is still to be determined, but expected to be 7:00 AM - 2:00 PM.
